“Hello everyone!

I really didn`t write here for a long time, i guess it was a pretty busy winter season going on for me! well, that´s kinda good but now i have really much to do on my college so that is pissing me off at the moment.

Whatever, i hope it will all end up soon so i can continue shredding and travelling. hmmm, where to start? maybe with an epic 3 snowy days in my hometown Rijeka in the end of december.  I hope you all guys now that Rijeka is situated just at the coast of Mediterrain sea and is not really a “snowing” town. Last time we had serious snowfall was like 20 years ago, and in end of december we had like 20 cm for 3 days and it was unbelievable!

I remember that i came home that day around 4 in the morning from some texas holdem poker session at my friends place and that it was not snowing outside, although it was really cold, so i went to sleep with no idea that i will be waking up in the morning with 20 cm of snow in front of my house. Day before „big“ snowfall i talked with my shredding buddies that we will see in the morning if we will go to our home mtn Platak next day, cause weather forecast predicted snowy storm and bad weather.

So, i woke up around 9 and checked Platak webcam (still having no idea about snow outside). I couldnt see shit on webcam, it was really stormy and snowy up there so i just tought about day off and almost went  back to sleep. Then i looked to my cellphone and i saw like 10 new messages and 15 missed calls. After „what a fuck“ thoughts i looked it up to see what is it about and all the messages were from my shredding crew and all were pretty much the same: „whats the plan?“, „where do we meet?“, „where are we going first“, „call me as soon as you wake up“ etc.

I couldnt believe this and i just thought that they were all crazy and that we made a clear plan day before that we will wake up easy in the morning, check the webcam and see if we are going to Platak or not. So i was just like “fuck this guys are crazy, whats the all hype about” (still having no idea about the snow outside). Then i finally look through my window and what i saw was incredible. White. All around. Whaaaaaat! i still remember the feeling and fast beating of my heart (i know it sounds gay- i dont really care). I think i was fully prepared in like 5 minutes. Then I did what i was always dreaming of. I strapped in front of my house and ride down to the town with my snowboard. All the way down. Couldnt believe. Rijeka was really not prepared for snowy situations so road was not clear at all, people were scared and dislocated, some were happy but still didnt know what to do. Town was in a complete disorder.

After riding to the center of the town (which was maybe the sickest thing i did in my whole life) i met my friends there so we started to cruise around the town, riding all around and having fun. You can see what we did in that 2 days in small edit by Tribe Films and Rene Gallo :

Hometown Dreams from Tribe Films on Vimeo.

I guess  i wrote a lot for today, no one is reading long posts anyway! there were much more things going on for me this season:  lots of easy rail shredding on my home mtn Platak, some FIShy contests as well (stoked to went in finals in all of them), Carnival Snowboard Session (in-city rail contest in Rijeka, with really good riders and sick level of riding– megastoked i finished that one on 4th place), national slopestyle champs (took 2nd place here), a lot of street filming in Slovenia (you will be able to check out that footy in my new part coming out not really soon :D, big thanks to Pucko, Rojs, Duc, Mata and guy who brought the lights who made it all happen ) and lots of other things i cannot remember right now  :) now, its college time for  few days,  i really have to solve few exams so i can shred more.

hope that you all have a bouncy season.”

“Hello world!

I am on Dachstein Gletshcher, moved here 7 days ago and I will stay till the end of month riding and filming for “Tribe Films” new video.

Park is sick, rails and kickers are shaped perfect so you can really shred well and progress fast. Weather has always been a huge problem here, and nothing really changed this season. From 6 days shredding here we got 3 nice days, and 3 days with fog and snow. But still, it`s good! You can always ride rails! We have so nice house here in Ramsau, it`s all in wood, with sauna and internet (thanks to the neighbour who didn`t locked his connection) which makes spending time here pretty dope.  I have no photos but here`s a little one-day-session video that Kolektiv Mag (croatian skate/snow website) did with me last weekend! It was opening of the season and my first time on snow after a while, so it`s just an easy session, but I hope you gonna like it!”

“Hi Bros!

So, it was about time for me to write my first blog here! I`ll let you know now how was my weekend in Schladming and what`s the situation on Dachstein Gletcher.

Well, in Friday I went to Schladming with the rest of the Tribe Films crew, knowing that pro line isn`t shaped yet. I didn`t care though, cause I didn`t snowboard from august and Les Deux Alpes and I was super motivated to have some fun in the beginner park before real season kicks off. We all woke up pretty early in

Saturday, and we saw some clouds up in the mountain. I was really pissed off back then, cause Dachstein is often pretty bad with weather, and I`m a lot on Dachstein so I`m sick of it. But when our gondola went trough the clouds and when we saw that it`s not so bad up there, we were stoked! Little windy that day, but such a nice session with friends and sweet beginning of the season. We went back in apartment  happy, knowing that tomorrow will be even better,  and that we will be shredding in bluebird with no wind at all.

Sunday was sick! Lots of friends on the mountain, nice weather and sick riding in beginner line. Monday brought sweet weather again, and funny session on a powder hip. Fog came from nowhere in the afternoon, and my friend got hurt, so we went down to the hospital and back home when doctors fixed his shoulder.  Important information for all is that pro rail line will be shaped in Monday, kickers hopefully few days after. I`m moving to Schladming for a month in Friday, stoked! See you on the mountain!”
